Legal Disclosures
QuickDocsAZ’s legal document preparer, AZCLDP #81184, is not a lawyer, is not employed by a lawyer, and cannot give legal advice. Communications with a legal document preparer are not privileged the way attorney-client communications are. If you need legal advice, please consult a licensed Arizona attorney.
Certified Legal Document Preparer
QuickDocsAZ’s documents are prepared by a Legal Document Preparer certified by the Arizona Supreme Court under Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (“ACJA”) § 7-208, AZCLDP #81184. Every document we prepare for you carries the preparer’s name, the title “Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer” or “AZCLDP,” and the certificate number, as ACJA § 7-208(F)(3) requires. We will also provide our name, title, and certificate number to anyone who asks.
What a legal document preparer can and cannot do
Under ACJA § 7-208(F)(1), we are authorized to prepare and file legal documents at your direction, provide general legal information, provide general factual information about legal rights and procedures, and arrange for service of your documents. We cannot give you specific advice, an opinion, or a recommendation about your legal rights, remedies, defenses, options, or strategy, and we cannot represent you in court. We do not select which forms to file or what relief to request on your behalf; those are your decisions. We also do not use titles like “lawyer,” “attorney at law,” “counselor at law,” “law office,” “JD,” or “Esq.”
No attorney-client relationship or privilege
Using QuickDocsAZ does not create an attorney-client relationship, and it does not create attorney-client privilege. We treat what you tell us as confidential, but a court could still compel disclosure of those communications in a way it generally cannot for communications with a licensed attorney. Documents are prepared based on the facts you provide; we do not verify those facts independently.
Fees, court filing fees, and service of process
Package prices are our document-preparation fee only. Court filing fees are set by each county and change on the court’s own schedule; service of process (if the other party must be formally served) is a separate cost. Both are disclosed before any additional charge. You may request a written itemization of all rates and charges on your matter at any time.
Conflicts of interest
If we become aware of a relationship that could create, or appear to create, a conflict of interest on your matter, we’ll disclose it to you promptly.
